Let's call this my first blog post.
I started a blog for an internship in 2009 but I was quickly discouraged from posting anything, lest I disclose proprietary information... I wouldn't have (of course!) but shutting the site down was easier than jumping through the hoops I would have needed to keep it. (My bosses totally liked the blog's design, though, so that cut down on my embarassment at the ill-fated thing.)
So when deciding what to start with here, I'm faced with tons of possibilities and all my recent shoots that are calling to be shared. Starting with my most recent shoot makes the most sense to me today, so that's what I'm doing! Aaaand I can't get over these adorable newborn cheeks, so this way I get to look at her photos for a little longer.

Leah Mae was barely four days old when I had the honor of meeting her! The latest edition to a family I've photographed before, she was as beautiful as I expected. Her momma expected her to be a little more cooperative, since she was so tiny, but I still give her a solid B+ for newborn behavior.
